Sandra Rose Shivas passed away suddenly at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, BC on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the age of 65 years.
Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on April 22, 1943, Sandra had been a resident of the Shuswap since 1971.
Sandra is survived by her sons, Gene (Lois) Shivas of Newnan, Georgia, and Mike Shivas of Sharpsburg, Georgia; daughter, Betty-Jean Shivas of Calgary; and grandchildren Blair, Jiro, Kyle, Brad, Nicole, Cherie, and Loreal.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bob Shivas in 1999.
Funeral services for Sandra were held from Crossroads Free Methodist Church, Salmon Arm on September 8th, 2008, at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Sheldon Carlson officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
