March 29, 1987 - November 12, 2018
Shon Lee Wilson, age 31, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2018 at home with his family and close friends holding him. Shon was born in Port Alberni, BC on March 29, 1987.

Shon was 2 years old when his kidneys were poisoned by E. Coli causing Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (a condition caused by the abnormal destruction of red blood cells)

Shon had a kidney transplant in 2006, however it failed in 2011. This failure caused his antibody rate to increase so high that it made it near impossible to find another kidney match.  Shon and his health suffered all his life but most greatly during the last 7 years.  He now sleeps, is pain free and at peace. Thank you to Dr. Warren Bell for his incredible compassion for Shon & his family.

Shon is survived by his daughter Eden, parents Linda Rollier & Robert Wilson, sister Chanlyn, grandparents Mary & Clarence Rollier, family closest to Shon, Aunt Lisa, Laura, Ann & Uncle Peter & Aunt Shannon and was loved by all his uncles & many cousins. Shon's chocolate lab Molly was by his side through thick and thin, providing constant companionship even through every dialysis session.

Shon's Celebration of Life was held 2 days before he died so he could say goodbye to his closest friends and family.  Share memories and condolences online through Shon's obituary at fischersfuneralservices.com.
