1963-2020 ~ With deep sadness we announce Steven's passing April 27th at Bastion Place. He has been in poor health since October 1986. Having suffered sever brain damage from meningitis.
Predeceased by his dad; Derrick, survived by his mum Anita, brother Martyn and "sister" in law Nona, relatives in England, and good friends; Marina, Tod, Jennifer and John.
We would like to offer our many thanks to Dr. Marr, Dr. Newell, Dr Wood, Dr. Jones for their care of Steven for the past 33 years.
We can't say enough about all the staff in every department at the hospital and Bastion Place, we thank you everyone. The nursing staff at Bastion Place are the best, your care, love and friendship made his life so much better, thank you.
I would like to thank Martyn and Nona, your devotion and kindness to Steven goes above and beyond, you have been with him every step of the way. We are so lucky to have you.
I love you all, Mum.
