It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, he passed away peacefully at home with family by his side.
He leaves behind his wife Kathleen of 71 years. Children; Bruce (Caroliena), Laura, Russell (Barb), Deb, Cindy (Dale). He was known as Papa or Big Papa to several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, also 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Ethel, brother Geordie and daughter Ann. He was born in Aberdeen Scotland and moved to Canada at an early age. They moved to Salmon Arm in 1942, married Kay 1949, started his family and a career in the logging industry.
He will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving and caring man, he always greeted you with a big smile, a firm handshake or the biggest hug ever. He loved playing cards and continued until the night before he passed away.
We will miss you dearly and so glad to have you, a part of us forever. Say hi to Ann.
