With much sadness we announce the sudden passing of Denys at Salmon Arm, B.C. on October 4th, 2009.
Denys is survived by his brother Peter (June) of Penticton, his sister Francis (Stu) of Edmonton, sons Trevor (Kory) of Calgary, and Steve (Della) of Prince George, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Denys was predeceased by his wife Audrey in 1997.
Denys was an avid fly-fisherman, and spent many days camping and fishing the interior lakes of BC. He will be missed by family and friends who enjoyed his company around the campfire, on the water, or at the card table.
An open house to celebrate Denys’ life will be held at his Blind Bay home on October 24, 2009 between 1:00 and 3:00PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association - no flowers please.
