Wendy lost her battle with cancer on Remembrance Day with family by her side, she fought hard but it was not to be.
Wendy worked for the RCMP for 36 years and always felt they were her 2nd family. She thought upon retirement she would have time to garden, visit with family, and drink her wine.
Wendy was well taken care of by the Nurses and Doctors at Royal Inland Hospital and Overlander Care Facility. We would like to thank all, and her friends who came to visit. You all blessed her days.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ken and Emily McEachen and her nephew Chris Mackie. Wendy leaves her loving and dedicated sisters, Bev Mackie and Kathy (Wayne) Tanemura; her nephews, Ken, Jarrett, Steven, Mark and their families.
The family plans an informal gathering in the spring, date and time will be announced later. Interment will be with her parents in the Chase Cemetery. The family has requested no flowers but if you would like to make a donation please make one to the Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
