Beloved father and grandfather, Flight Lieutenant Wilton (Bill) B. Borton passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 5, 2008at the age of 91 with his loving family by his side.

Bill had a long and distinguished career with both the R.A.F. and the R.C.A.F. serving in Burma during WW11 and as Senior Control Flying Officer for 27 years. He retired to Anglemont in 1965. Predeceased by his adoring wife Edith, Bill is survived by his daughters Leverne Atherton and Tish Heaven; grandchildren Charlie, Mike, Niki, Christine and Laurisa and great grandchildren Joelle, Molly, Mathew and Andrew.

Bill will be cremated and laid to rest beside his wife at the North Shuswap Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the S.P.C.A., 1211-8th Avenue, Kamloops, B.C. V2B 2Y3 in memory of Bill would be appreciated.
