One of the best things that Marty Bootsma and his council did was building Fletcher Park next to city hall.
I’m sure more were involved and kudos to them too. I drive by the park almost every day and I smile from ear to ear seeing all the happy children playing on the park equipment and running around there. You hear joyful squeals in the water park on those warm days.
It was never used before like it is since the park was built. The park is a safe and joyful place to play and have a picnic.
