Cougars pose more risks than terrorists

Apparently the local folks here in the North Shuswap say they will have to vote for Harper to keep them safe from terrorists.

Now understand the logic: this is a series of rather isolated, off-the-main-transportation-route string of tiny communities along the North side of Shuswap Lake in Southern BC. Total population around 3,000 spread along 60 kilometres of lake shore.

It is very, very quiet here, except during summer tourist season, when the Albertans come.

You would be much more likely to be attacked by a cougar here –in fact, pets frequently are – than by a terrorist.

Maybe we should vote for Harper to keep us safe from cougar attacks?
