The death of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo is tragic, and my heart goes out to his family. The best way to honour his service is to be more Canadian – more dedicated to peace, kindness and social justice.
Religious intolerance, racism, fear mongering and revenge are not Canadian values, and using his death to erode Canadian civil liberties or to increase our foreign aggression is an insult to his service and his death.
