Letter: Writer peeved that new road contractors are not based in B.C.

Regarding the story of Nov. 23, Shuswap to get new road contractor:

Way to go all you directors for giving the new contract to a company based in Spain!

Go ahead, kill local businesses on the basis of a hoped-for but unlikely improvement of snow removal.

Any company doing this work has only so many machines and employees. No firm will be able to clear all the roads within the time lines you suggest.

Meanwhile, you will be captive to a company based in Spain. So good luck on getting any quick response to your complaints!
