As a member of CASSSA and supporter of WATER I take offence at being labelled anti-development, anti-business.
I know of no member of these organizations who are. Indeed, on the contrary, we are all keen for pro-development, pro-business as long as it is not bad for the environment and has high ethical standards.
As for Mr. Nathan Hildebrand, I object to his American styled lobbying and interference in local politics. He is not a resident of Salmon Arm and his only interest is his job and the expansion of SmartCentres.
With the co-operation of most of our council, he managed to add yet another (rather diminished) feather to SmartCentres’ cap.
Mission accomplished he will happily go on to some other project without a backward glance.
