The City of Salmon Arm has just announced their intention to hire a Kansas website design firm to redesign our community’s website.
I fail to understand that a capable web design company could not be found at least in the province of B.C. to undertake the redesign of the City of Salmon Arm’s website. For $25,000 of taxpayer’s money to leave this community, not even stay in the Province of B.C. and be so easily given to a U.S. company astounds me.
Perhaps Dorothy’s house has fallen on city hall and knocked some of our community leaders senseless.
I’m sure the Kansas company will have a keen sense of the nuances that make Salmon Arm such a unique community when designing the new website.... and gladly recycle the money in the Shuswap.
