Overcoming racism a must

Writer calls for every person to take responsibility to reject prejudice and violence.

We the people of the free world have just had enough. Too many of our loved ones have died at the hands of terror. Racism seems to be at the root cause and violence has become the avenue of choice. Human rights have been set aside as average people as well as police officers have lost their lives. The minds of the  terrorists are truly demented, following ideologies where they believe they are following God’s work. God truly does not want us to kill one-another in any manner, at any time.

We are so much stronger united together where each of us has to diligently watch our own neighborhoods, for homebound terrorists as well as other forms of crime.

Whether we are black or white, yellow or red we must work together and with our police forces. Policing is a multi-tasking hard job where the majority of them are dedicated and true to the law. They need our help not our mistrust. Bad police should be held accountable. Terror invokes fear and fear invokes isolation, which in turn breaks down communication.

Each one of us holds a responsibility to steer away from prejudice and any form or violence. We all matter in our God’s eyes. We must care about ourselves, as well as all others. We must care about not just our frailties but also for our diverse abilities. In turn we will inspire our children toward a better and happier life. Never will we relinquish our right for freedom, peace and for equality. We will never give up our way of life to any form of terrorism.
