Potholes hazardous for drivers

We have potholes all over town that never seem to get fixed. These holes have not just sprung up overnight, they’ve been there for sometimes over a year to the detriment of vehicles’ suspensions and other hazards.

I contacted an employee at public works who gave me a lot of reasons as to why these potholes have not been repaired.

It appears we have a new paving contractor who is “slow to get off the ground” (their words) and also there appears to be some problem with the specification as to asphalt quality.

As to the deplorable condition of the road by Safeway, I was informed that this work has not been done for so long because Centenoka is waiting for a grant or something from the government. It’s beyond me what Centenoka has to do with road repairs, however, so I think all of these excuses are a lot of “who shot John.”

So never mind all these excuses, let’s just get the potholes filled in guys. Let’s get ’er done now before the tourists hit town with a consequential snarling of traffic.
