Premiers oppose Harper’s job plan

Does anyone need more proof that our prime minister is not a team player?

Does anyone need more proof that our prime minister is not a team player? His government arbitrarily developed a funding plan for job training without consulting the provincial governments who are responsible for education in Canada. The premiers are united in their opposition to the federal Conservative’s new funding scheme. Large corporations will be the greatest beneficiary because their current training programs will receive government subsides. Small businesses will benefit the least. Is this another example of how Harper repays large corporations for making campaign contributions to his party?

If Stephen Harper was a professional hockey player, the consequences of his self-indulgent arrogance would be a lesson on how to ‘ride the bench.’ After the next election he shouldn’t be surprised if he finds himself sitting on one of the benches reserved for Parliament’s opposition parties.
