I recently had the pleasure of attending Legend, the live theatre collaboration between Shuswap Theatre and the Switzmalph Cultural Society. James Bowlby and Kenthen Thomas have crafted a unique showcase for our cultural roots here in the Shuswap. I liked the intergenerational tension and the weaving of stories. The cast was cleverly chosen to represent symbolic animal mentors. Even the cameo appearances of animals lent weight to the stories. This performance was an incredibly sweet and memorable evening suitable for all ages. Thank you for the gift.
