Salmon Arm has its first All Star summer baseball team in four years this season. The PeeWee ‘A’ summer team plays tournaments and double headers throughout July. They will compete to qualify for provincials July 26 to 28 in Kelowna. The league has a great summer team that is eager to show the rest of B.C. what Salmon Arm ball is all about, says Shirley Deglan, Salmon Arm Minor Baseball’s peewee division manager. The Peewee A Summer All Star team will play doubleheaders at Elk’s Park Saturday, July 6 at 10 a.m. and on Sunday, July 21.
