The Chase Heat will be arriving in town in August to start their 2016-2017 hockey season.
Once the team has been selected, the out-of-town players will need a place to live for the hockey season (Sept. 2016 to March 2017). The boys come from all areas of British Columbia and beyond, and vary from 16 to 20 years in age. Some are still in school (these players attend Chase Secondary during their stay) and some have already graduated. What they all have in common is their love for the sport and their desire to provide Chase with many hours of exciting hockey.
Being a billet family is a rewarding experience and adds a whole new dimension to the otherwise dreary Chase winter.
It is important prospective billets are able to provide players with healthy meals and a safe environment.
This home away from home is important to enable the boys to be successful on the ice and in everyday life.
