A Chase rider topped the competition in her division at the Salmon Arm Fair horse show held Sept. 8-9.
Saturday’s show featured showmanship, reining and western pattern and flat classes, including qualifying classes for next year’s Western Heritage Show in Armstrong.
Once the day’s events were concluded, Theresa Tremeer of Chase on Starbucks Drive Thru laid claim to the Western Senior High Point Championship and several great prizes.
Judge Glenn Perran, a former Salmon Arm area trainer and judge who is now based in Mexico, put the accomplished riders through their paces to determine placings.
