Two Salmon Arm athletes returned from their first Alberta Open BJJ/Grappling Championship with silver and gold medals. Members of Gracie Barra Shuswap/Okanagan BJJ and MMA, Donavin Scott earned gold in the heavyweight division while Ryan Gardner was awarded silver in ultra heavyweight at the Calgary event on Oct. 22. The team brought home a total of five gold medals and two silver medals overall.
