Salmon Arm’s Cathy Lipsett has been selected as head coach for BC Ringette’s 2015 Canada Winter Games Team BC program.
Lipsett, who was an assistant coach for BCRA’s 2011 Canada Winter Games program, is a long-time member of BC Ringette and brings a wealth of experience to the position. She is a former association volunteer with Shuswap Ringette and a regional high performance coach with the Thompson-Okanagan Ringette League. Most recently she served as an assistant coach with the BC Thunder of the National Ringette League and was a member of the Thunder bench staff when the team captured B.C.’s first national championship in 2012. The Canada Winter Games will be held in Prince George from Feb. 13 to March 1, 2015.
