The midget Outlaws played a single game over the weekend on home ground at the Shaw Centre against Kamloops.

The Outlaws grabbed the first goal of the game midway through the first period before netting a second goal to double their lead.

Kamloops scored a quick goal to answer back to make the score 2-1 heading into the second period.

Kamloops picked up where they left off and scored another goal to tie the game.

Both teams traded chances and solid goaltending by both teams kept the game level at two.

The Outlaws scored just before the end of the period to take a one-goal lead heading into the final frame.

The floodgates opened in the third period for Kamloops and the Outlaws took advantage of a few man advantages on route to a convincing 9-2 victory.

The bantam Outlaws spent the weekend in Armstrong at the North Okanagan Rock the House tournament.

The bantam side went through the round robin play with a win, a loss and a tie.

This put them into third place going into the semifinals.

Unfortunately, the home North Okanagan team beat the Outlaws soundly with a score of 9-3, which saw the outlaws finish fourth overall in the tournament.

The bantam Outlaws will look to regroup for next weekend when they head to Penticton for the Barn-burner Tournament.

The peewee B team had two home games on Sunday and unfortunately lost both games, first against Penticton and then Kelowna.

The peewee A and novice teams both had last weekend off, but will be back in the action next weekend.
