At the Fireman’s Bonspiel held March 22 to 24, the curling sizzled. Results were:
• A Event winner – Retired RCMP team with skip Dave Williams, third Jim Beecroft, second Cliff Hosker and lead Chris Williams.
• B Event – Eagle Bay Fire Department made up of skip Chuck Layton, third Tom Hewitt, second Joe Wallin and lead Ken Beyer.
• C Event – Salmon Arm Fire Department Hall #4 made up of skip Jerry Jones, third Tim Thurston, second Larry Petryshen and lead Marty Bootsma.
