“We were really pleased with our performance, particularly considering two of our starting offensive lineman couldn’t make it,” said Golds coach Rob Neid.

He said there were many notable performances seen during Saturday’s event. Overall, the Golds scored three touchdowns and tallied over 300 yards of offence.

“It set a good course for next season,” said Neid, noting PL Lord scored two touchdowns, one rushing, and one receiving after a pass from Eric Borthistle. Lord also had an interception on defence.

Kyle Jordan had a rushing touchdown and led in defence along with Gavin Petznick. Jordan had four takedowns with Petznick achieving six.

Neid says he’s happy with how the team performed and that they are gearing up to attend the Eastern Washington University team camp from June 21 to 25.

The Eagles of Eastern Washington University were the 2010 NCAA Division I Football Champions.
