Skiers head out at the start of the 16th annual Larch Hills Nordics’ Santa Cruise cross-country ski race

First-place finishes were as follows: • 6 and under boys, 1-km – Eric Moore; 7- to 9-year-old boys, 2-km – Stephen Moore; 10- to 13-year-old boys, 3-km – Andrew Nash; 14- to 17-year-old boys, 5-km – Daniel Blackie; 18-plus men, 10-km – George Jackson.

• 6 and under girls, 1-km – Hilary Vukadinovic; 7- to 9-year-old girls, 2-km – Keeya Corbett; 10- to 13-year-old girls, 3-km – Rachel May; 14- to 17-year-old girls, 5-km – Gina Cinelli; 18-plus women – Laura Hepburn; Sit-ski, 2-km – Emily Suchy.
