School basketball wraps up for season

Salmon Arm Secondary School Sr. Jewel Christine Dewitt
Senior Jewel Christine Dewitt passes during last Tuesday's 62-54 win versus Penticton.

The Senior Jewels finished fourth in their league, so they played a must-win game against Penticton on Feb. 22, which they won,  62-54. However, they weren’t able to win as they headed into the playoffs.

The Salmon Arm Secondary Junior Girls and Boys finished third in their zones and played a backdoor game in Vernon against the VSS girls and boys. Both teams lost so their season has now wrapped up.

The Senior boys finished their season in Penticton on Feb 12.

Great season

The Shuswap Middle School Girls basketball team finished first in their league as well as in the playoffs. They went on to place third in their zone.

The Shuswap Middle School Boys basketball team also had a great season finishing third in their league  They went on to place second in their playoffs and fourth in their zone.
