Silverbacks fail to tame Wild

Game ends in 4-1 defeat for the home team

The Wenatchee Wild bested the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in BCHL action at the Shaw Centre on Friday Night.

After a scoreless first period, Rhett Kingston lit the lamp for the Silverback early in the second.

With both Josh Latta and Julian Timba in the penalty box, August Von Ungern scored for the Wild tieing the game. Wenatchee took the lead two minutes later with another power play goal from Sam Morton.

A pair of goals from Slava Denim in the third period wrapped up a 4-1 win for the Wild.
