SilverBacks need few more billet families

The call is out to families who are interested in housing Salmon Arm Silverbacks players for the upcoming season.

The call is out to families who are interested in housing Salmon Arm Silverbacks players for the upcoming season. The team is still in need of a few billet families to provide a “home away from home” for players.

Anyone with an available room is asked to contact Alicia Davies, the team’s Billet Co-ordinator at 250-804-8308 to become a billet family. In return, families get a pair of Silverbacks season tickets, a monthly allowance, and grocery vouchers for Askew’s Foods.

Hosting Trail

The SilverBacks meet Trail in their first exhibition game on Friday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. at Sunwave Centre. Saturday they take on Westside in Royal LePage Place and Friday, Sept. 16, they’re back at home to host Westside. The regular season starts on Sept. 23 when the SilverBacks travel to Vernon.
