The first-ever skateboard competition at the Salmon Arm Skatepark was held on Saturday, Aug. 26.

Micah Karreman placed first in the runs portion of the contest with Myguel Pullman and Jeff Lytle finishing second and third.

Matthew Barnett won the best trick contest with Karreman and Bobby Wangler as runners-up.
