Alexanne Lepage is picking up right where she left off.

The Vernon local is in her second season with the University of Calgary Dinos swim team. She is coming off a gold-busting 2023-24 rookie campaign, during which she won the Rookie of the Year award in both Canada West and U Sports.

She also helped her Dinos teammates to three silvers in the 200, 400 m medley relays and the 400 m freestyle relay.

The Vancouver meet hosted by the UBC Thunderbirds was the second of the season for the Dinos. The Thunderbirds women's team finished first overall, with the Dinos in second.

In the opening meet of the year, the Dino Invitational, Lepage won all of her events, including help her Dinos to a gold in the 400 m relay.

Next up for Lepage is the Canada West Championships, hosted in Vancouver from Nov. 22- 24.

So far through just over a year of U Sports competition, the second-year engineering student has accumulated a whopping 34 gold medals.
