Gracie Barra from the Shuswap/Okanagan Training Centre, which specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, took a group to Los Angeles for the American National Jiu-Jitsu Championship on Sept. 24 and 25. Dave Rothwell took silver and bronze in Gi competition (clad in a Gi or uniform), while Mario Devault claimed two silvers in Gi competition and a silver in No Gi competition (wearing shorts and rash guard).
