Wendy Woodhurst, the school district’s director of instruction, wants to go back to school – as a principal or vice-principal.
It was announced that Woodhurst, who has held the administrative position for nine years, is looking to be re-assigned back into a school-based role. Woodhurst was previously a principal before advancing to her administrative position.
A hiring process has been initiated for the position.
The announcement about the appointments of principals and vice-principals in the school district is being delayed until Woodhurst’s replacement is determined.
