Organizers are gearing up to raise funds for Variety, the Children’s Charity of B.C.
Volunteers will go door-to-door collecting refundable beverage containers in Salmon Arm and Gleneden this Saturday, Jan. 7 beginning at 10 a.m.
The refundable containers can also be dropped off at Branch #62 Royal Canadian Legion on Lakeshore Drive.
Volunteers will continue to raise funds with a breakfast at the legion from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, and the annual auction runs noon onward Saturday, Feb. 4, also at the legion.
