Salmon Arm Mayor Nancy Cooper accepts a cheque for $28,300 from Bert Braybrook, general manager of Telus, at Jackson Park in North Canoe on Monday, Sept. 8. For every customer Telus signed up for their new fibre optic service, the company donated $25 to the community for the upgraded playground equipment.
