The Robin Hood spirit was alive and well with an event teaching archery and the joy of giving to those less fortunate on Nov. 17.
Kids 10 years old and older could try out their aim at archery targets for a donation of non-perishable food which would go to Second Harvest Food Bank.

The event was organized as a partnership between Downtown Salmon Arm and the Salmar Theatre in hopes of both promoting the new Robin Hood film premiering at the theatre on Nov. 23 and collecting food ahead of the food bank’s busiest season.
Those who missed out on the archery fun can still drop food off at the donation bins at either Salmar Theatre, Prisa Lighting or Sun Life Financial.
