Heather Reid, centre, representing CUPE 523 school support staff, presented a total of $4,000 to community groups including: Loretta Young from Second Harvest, Jim Chisholm from the Sorrento Food Bank, Joan Mitchell and Winston Pain from the Shuswap Trail Alliance, Sara Inskip from the Shuswap Women’s Shelter, Pam Beech from Eagle Valley Resources for the food bank, and Kirsty Hopkins from the Armstrong Food Bank in care of the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club. Missing from the picture is Diane Nadeau from the Enderby Food Bank.
