Okanagan’s ‘biggest’ home and reno show is coming to Penticton this weekend.
The 28th annual Home and Reno Show, produced by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) South Okanagan returns on Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 10 from 10-4 p.m. at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.
Vendor spots sold out quickly for the popular show.
Displays feature home building, decorating, and renovating products. Home and garden experts will also be on hand. The City of Penticton and the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen have booths.
“Exhibitors and attendees agree, this is the biggest and best show in the Okanagan,” said Sarah Taylor, executive officer at South Okanagan CHBA. Over 125 vendors are expected to be there.
Last year, thousands came through the doors to check out all the latest trends and products including lots of ideas for spring.
On Sunday, March 10, bring your appetite and an extra $5 for the Builders’ Pancake Breakfast to raise funds for the South Okanagan Women in Need Society (SOWINS).
While you are at the show, don’t forget to vote for Penticton’s ugliest deck. The winner receives a $5,000 deck material package from Home Hardware, this year’s title sponsor of the show.
There’s also a Kids Zone with a bouncy castle.
Admission is $5 cash at the door.
