Shuswap residents had a unique opportunity to take in some of the sights, sounds and flavours of Bulgaria.
The Days of Bulgaria Festival took place at Song Sparrow Hall in Salmon Arm on Friday, April 19. The free event, hosted by Velislava Panova, the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria and Daniela Dobreva, vice-president of the Bulgarian Canadian Society of B.C., was a celebration of Bulgarian culture with food, wine, music and dance. This was the first time Salmon Arm has been a stop for the annual travelling festival.
