The award-winning Broadway musical Come From Away will land in Penticton for two shows in September.

The Tony Award-winning show shares the true story of the 7,000 air passengers who were stranded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland in the wake of 9/11.

The show has toured across North America, picking up multiple Best Musical awards and more along the way, from Los Angeles, Seattle, San Diego, Toronto and of course, New York including a Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical.

It’s described as a tale of clashing cultures amid high tension that transformed into enduring friendships with music that soared into the night.
