As Time Passes By
Twenty-four months seems like many days ago,
But I am slowly healing and letting go.
It hasn't been easy...but I have been trying,
To let go of the sad memories and all the crying.
As Times Passes By
Always remembering happier times with you,
That helps me smile and not feel so blue.
Putting those wonderful memories and times,
In a safe place, knowing that I will be fine.
As Time Passes By
I have learned to go forward each and every day,
But just one step at a time as they say.
To wake up to another new day and move on,
And try not to feel so sad that you are gone.
