• LIVE MUSIC AT THE CANTINA – Guitarist Blair Shier will perform at Cantina Vallarta at 6 p.m.

• WEAR YOUR PJS TO THE LIBRARY – Kids are encouraged to wear their pyjamas to hear Burnham read a chapter from Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher at the Salmon Arm library, as part of their spring break program.

SATURDAY, MARCH 17

• GAMES ALL DAY AT THE LIBRARY – Scrabble, Clue, Upwards, checkers, dominoes and many more will be played all day at the Salmon Arm library as part of their spring break activities.

• FILM FARE – Shuswap Film Society presents A Separation, Asghar Farhadi’s film portrait of religious convictions, moral debts and ties of blood in modern-day Tehran. 7:30 p.m. at the Salmar Classic Theatre.

• IMPROV – Laughing Gas Improv Troupe presents Blarney Time at Shuswap Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Cash bar, complimentary snacks and a performance to make you laugh. Info: Monica 250-833-6100.

Saturday & Sunday, MARCH 17 & 18

• DOWSING – Improve your intuition in a weekend dowsing workshop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the boardroom of the SASCU Downtown Activity Centre. Register at 250-835-8236. $75 for one day or $125 for both.

• JAMMERS DANCE – A variety of music for an evening of entertainment, starting at 7 p.m. If you play tunes, bring your instrument and join in. Fifth Avenue Seniors Activity Centre, 170 - 5th Avenue, Salmon Arm.

MONDAY, MARCH 19

• ART BREAK – SAGA Public Art Gallery offers a full-day workshop for kids aged 9 to 13 during spring break. Mondrian Monday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. will feature Piet Mondrian. Felting and abstract painting. Cost $20 per child.

TUESDAY, MARCH 20

• BOARD GAMES AT THE LIBRARY – Board games will be available for play at the Salmon Arm library as part of their spring break activities.

• MEXICAN MUSIC – El Mariachi Los Dorados welcome spring with a concert at 8 p.m. at SAGA Public Art Gallery. Tickets are available at Acorn Music.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21

• FINE BLEND – The fiddle, vocals and guitar duo of Kelli Trottier and Greg Simm perform a blend of folk, bluegrass, western swing & jazz at 7 p.m. at SAGA Public Art Gallery. Tickets $15 at the door.

• REMOTE VIEWING – Shuswap Questers presents Dr. Wayne Carr, who will explain remote viewing at 7 p.m. in the library of the SASCU Downtown Activity Centre. Admission is $3.

THURSDAY, MARCH 22
