Who let the dogs out? Just For Kicks Dance Studio did with its upcoming production of 101 Dalmatians.

The dance school brings the Disney classic to life through ballet, with the two-toned villain, polka dot puppies and all supporting cast all ready to take to the stage after perfecting the show during Saturday’s dress rehearsal.

In addition to learning the choreography, which despite being dog-centric did contain a pas de chat (step of the cat) move, the dancers also built the props and set that includes a barn, hay bale, trees and more.

Performances will take place in the studio at 420 3rd Avenue SW March 7-9 with nightly shows at 6 p.m. as well as a 1 p.m. matinee on the last day. Tickets are $12 and available at Shuswap Tickets & Gifts the Mall at Piccadilly.
