The temporary community garden is taking root in Sicamous again this spring for anyone who wants to plant a plot.

Registration is now open for a space in the garden in Lions Park just off of Martin Street, and is open to all families, individuals and community groups, with plot size options of three-by-three or six-by-six feet.

A large community garden bed with soil, water, a shade tent and picnic bench will be provided for gardeners. They, in turn, must agree to regularly tend and maintain their plot, keeping it weed-free, and have to provide their own hoses.

Registration can be done online at www.sicamous.ca under the Live Here recreation tab. Anyone with any questions can contract Phaedra Kennedy at pkennedy@sicamous.ca.
