Bolean fire the focus of community meeting

A community meeting will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the Falkland Community Hall on Highway 97.

Falkland residents can learn more about the Bolean Lake fire.

A community meeting will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the Falkland Community Hall on Highway 97.

“The community meeting will provide residents of Falkland and the public with updated information regarding the Bolean Lake wildfire situation,” said Ryan Nitchie, with Columbia Shuswap Regional District.

“Representatives from the B.C. Wildfire Management Branch, Emergency Management B.C., CSRD and Shuswap Emergency Program will be in attendance.”
