I have walked around this village, talking to many citizens during this campaign and viewing the state of our infrastructure. As much as I would like to say that my priority project is something glamorous or tantalizing for the community to have reason to vote me in, I can’t.
My number-one project would be a full review of the finances of this village to firstly reveal their true state and what measures must be undertaken to bring those finances into line. Our infrastructure is only one issue, but it is on the edge of needing some upgrade and our role would be to ensure the financial wherewithal to respond to the need before there is a catastrophic failure.
