Incumbents were elected in all three of the Shuswap's election races for the Columbia Shuswap Regional District directors.
Preliminary results are as follows:
Area C (South Shuswap):
Paul Demenok was elected with 714, Alan McClelland had 459 and Richard Norman got 46 votes.
Area D (Falkland, Salmon Valley, Ranchero):
Rene Talbot was re-elected with 280 votes, challenger Kelly Stalker had 184.
Area E (Rural Sicamous):
Longtime politician Rhona Martin was re-elected with 229 votes, while Dan Letendre got 70.
