The Penticton Regional Airport is getting additional flight service to Vancouver and Calgary.

WestJet is expanding its Penticton-Calgary route starting in June. On April 27, meanwhile, Pacific Coastal will be adding additional flights to Vancouver.

The Calgary flight service will be five days a week, arriving in Penticton in the evenings starting June 12, before leaving in the mornings to return to Calgary. The new flights will go until the end of October.

The existing six-day-a-week afternoon flights will remain unchanged.

Pacific Coastal will also be switching to a larger, 34-seat aircraft for their twice-daily flights.

The recent expansion from Pacific Coastal is the second in 2024, after the airline announced additional flights on Saturdays in February, which followed Air Canada’s pullout from Penticton at the start of the year.

WestJet will not be bringing back its service between Penticton and Edmonton.
