The Salmon Arm Airport will be receiving an influx of provincial government funds which will go towards upgrading their fuelling system.
The provincial government announced they will contribute $225,000 which will fund the upgrades along with a $75,000 contribution by the city of Salmon Arm.
“Creating a more connected BC means investing in infrastructure that not only directly impacts traffic but also makes it more efficient” said Shuswap MLA Greg Kyllo, “This investment for Salmon Arm Airport’s fuel system does just that, providing better services for pilots, crews and ultimately passengers as well.”
Th project is funded by the BC Air Access Program, through which the province cost shares with airports on upgrades to airport facilities.
