The Salmon Arm Secondary School rugby teams will collect live Christmas trees by donation on Sunday, Jan. 15 within the City of Salmon Arm limits.

Have your Christmas tree visible at the curb by 10 a.m. and attach your donation to your tree, or leave a note with the tree to come to your door.

Or leave your donation with a neighbour , in which case, be sure to leave a note with the tree.

Trees will not be collected without a donation.

Trees must be live, cut trees free of lights, tinsel, ornaments, and hooks.

The CSRD is  also accepting live Christmas trees at the Salmon Arm Landfill free-of-charge until Sunday, Jan. 15.

Again, remove  all lights, tinsel, ornaments, and hooks before going to the landfill.
